Comment Popularity 1.3.1 script details Comment Popularity is a plugin that will help you prevent people from trolling your site by letting your registered users vote on the blog comments.
As comments are voted up or down, they are also ranked according to their recent points total.
This way positive and helpful comments are listed above the negative feedback, which in turn is listed at the bottom, where most users never get to read it.
Only registered users ca vote on comments, and the users that have made the comments have those points added to their total karma level.
This encourages overall good behavior and administrators can use the total karma points for each user to find the most active and dedicated users in their database.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
